Remaining 2025 Dates

October 24-31, 2025 (7 Nights)

Freediving | Yoga | Meditation | Breathwork | NeuroConservation

Same program, new backdrop. This time we’re trading our usual island home for the ridiculous beauty of South Sulawesi. Picture it: glass-flat seas, reefs so alive they look Photoshopped, and a week spent with our friends at Tevana House Reef learning, exploring, and remembering why you fell in love with the ocean in the first place (or about to).

Our goal? Simple: help you connect with the water, push yourself just enough to feel proud (without needing a medal), and create a space where learning freediving feels like breathing—natural, safe, and way less intimidating than you think. Our team isn’t just made up of freedivers; we’re a mix of teachers, yogis, science nerds, and general water obsessives who know that the best progress happens when you feel supported, not pressured.

This retreat is for anyone—yes, even if your “ocean experience” is mostly Instagram scrolling. Beginners are not just welcome; they’re our favorite to teach. We focus less on chasing numbers and more on the mental reset freediving offers: calm, clarity, and the quiet kind of confidence you take home with you.

What Will You Learn?

At both retreats, we go beyond “hold your breath and look at fish.” We dig into the kind of practices that actually make life on land feel better, too. Think:

  • Techniques to handle stress, sleep better, and stop arguing with your own expectations.

  • Tuning into your body and breath so you’re not just surviving dives—or your work week.

  • Practical strategies for navigating learning plateaus (because yes, they happen to everyone).

  • Neuroconservation—aka how freediving can make you care about the ocean in a way that sticks, and how that ripple effect feeds into sustainability.

Along the way, our instructors weave in yoga, meditation, breathwork, and body training—not as a checklist, but as tools to help you progress without frying your nervous system. The vibe is supportive, non-competitive, and designed to help you surprise yourself (in the best way).

What’s Included?

Accommodation

We’re staying at Tevana House Reef, a boutique eco-resort tucked into the shoreline of South Sulawesi. Rustic? Yes. Comfortable? Also yes. Think traditional Phinisi boat-building design meets minimal modern vibes, with a strong “please don’t wreck the planet” energy.

Tevana does all the good eco-things you hope a place like this would: rainwater harvesting, wastewater gardens, water-saving showers and toilets, and toiletries that won’t make you feel guilty for using them. It’s simple, intentional, and fits perfectly with why we’re here in the first place.
